oh come on you know that another way you can make your unemployment claim is by requesting on line, oh and it only takes you about 15 min tops, the reason the line was always busy was becasue so many people were trying to get through, another number you can try is 1-800-939-2741

Now they want me to meet up with a case worker once a week AND SHE NEVER PICKS UP THE PHONE OR RESPONDES TO EMAILS .

Good for you David P. Griffin....You are really do us all a service by exposing these people for what they are... incompetent and lazy... Thank you for your service... The sad thing is that even if you got through you will most likely have to talk to someone who doesn't have a clue.... This is our American Tax dollars at work ... I share your frustration... I worked for Convergys and after 2 years and 6 months I was fired without the right reasson, I was getting benefits and after 3 months they got reversed an now I have to pay them back 2,300 and I still without a job and now they want me to pay. how I gonna pay if I do not have a job? I was fired for a wrong reasson and I know a lot of coworkers with the same situation the benefits get reversed after 2 or 3 months. "the rich people is getting more rich and the poor we are not getting any help"

Im going through the same thing right now, I won my appeal and then... i was then disqualified. now i have to go threw another appeal. bullshit.

I feel your pain buddy. I finally started calling the local offices (long distance numbers on the website) in Houston, Dallas and Austin and finally got through to the Austin office after about 100 calls around 10:30am on a Tuesday. THEN when I finally got through I got treated like a dog. The bitch I talked to was talking to me like I was trying to screw the TWC out of money. I've worked all my life and this the first time I've been unemployed and i've never been treated so bad.
