Idaho Falls, idaho. This is an over night stop as part of a 7-day Chinese tour that also includes Yellowstone National Park. We arrive here at about 5pm and stay overnight Filmed in June of 2008.

Hi, I lived in Idaho Falls for 5 long years! My husband and I are originally from southern California and thought a nice slow paced small town would be nice for a change...WRONG!! Atleast not in this town! The people are unbelievable!!! Stuckup religious freaks who look down on you just because you're from a "REAL"city! Neighbors threw garbage and beer bottles in our yard and yelled "Go back to California"! Thanks for making us feel welcome! You call yourselves Christians?? Go to Hell!

@therealtanyajewel, I soooo beleive what u are saying....each time i am in that town driving a bus....i get that same feeling. and 9 people out of 10 give me the same opinion u jus did. THANK YOU for helping me to get this town off my list of places to go to raise a family. The thing that gets me when i am there is the Loneliness and clanish feeling the whole town seems to have. And i too such as your self am from Cali...born and raised and probably where i will stay. Thanks!

"Stuckup religious freaks who look down on you just because you are from a "REAL" city" last I checked that would be considered condescending. And to generalize all of the town's population as stuck up religious freaks is sure as hell an insult for a lot of us as we don't like most of the mormons here. And the reasons behind the dislike of UT and CA are because UT has crap drivers and CA for the fact that we see them as douchebags and they see us as hicks and farmers.

Actually, those people probably weren't Christians. I lived in Idaho Falls for a couple of years myself and while I didn't enjoy the place I made lots of great friends. But yes I get what you mean about the religious separation there. But its MORMONS, not Christians. They have their own little clan and look down on you if you aren't of their religion. Everything in Idaho FAlls is based off of the church, don't live there if you aren't mormon is my only advice

I grew up there from 1 to 22 years old was born and raised there it used to be a nice town untill all the mexicans started to get in the town (no offense to whoever is mexican) but i kinda grew up in the bad parts of idaho falls i used to live behind mdgit market and by gladstone so my overall opinion about idaho falls its a nice town sometimes but there is way to many religous tension going on there and i am still living in this town!

i dont know what the fuck u all are talkin about. ive lived here my life and this town sucks ass. the only good part about idaho falls is the high school. every where else in the shit hole of a town blows. cops are on a power trip all the time. the people here suck ass they treat u like a fucking alien if ur not a goody two shows like they were and how there kids are. if u smoke drink or do drug. dont move here. take it from someone who does all three they treat u like shit.

it isnt small either thats just part of the city it can take 30 minutes to get accross town at times traffic gets heavy and although not common weve had a murder several mexican gangs of course the closed mined mormoms and then you got the people who bitch and complain and moan about the weather we have nice summers nice springs but in the winter all people do is b itch and moan cuz we get almost lake effect snow lol n so what really sucks about if is the people not the city itself

I recently came to Idaho Falls, I'm an exchange studen from Norway, been here for 5 months now and I actually enjoy this place, people are really nice and open. Yes there are alot of mormons here, but if you just respect them, they will respect you, and ofcourse some will be rude and maybe judge you if you drink or something, but that how it is everywhere, you just have to deal with it!
