Film submission for 2009 Summer Wild West Film Fest. Drama written, filmed and edited in 48 hours by Zach Lang. Starring Jerry Smithey, Neal Adams, and Rachel Spencer. Based on the true story of Jerry Smithey's life. Jerry was locked in an attic for approximately a week by his Step-Father. (true) In the film he is let out of the attic by a retired fireman. (in real life, let out by police). In the film he is later on in life adopted by the same fireman that saved him from the attic and only realizes it one day when putting his jacket away in the adopting Father's closet, when he sees the fire man jacket that he saw when emerging from the attic. In real life Jerry became property of the State of Kansas and was in and out of several foster homes, and not ever adopted. Set to music by Tantrum of the Muse and AM Syndicate.
