as i have just said to someone else he never did impressions he was dan doing joan who doesn't sing and he looks as much like her as he can in the sort of frocks she would wear,he was a comic in a frock

A very talented artist but so cliche as image of what straight people in the 70/80's imagined gay would be - effeminate! Danny never gave nothing to the gay scene at all.
