I can see why it was a deleted scene.

This is awesome, its a pity that you cant find the original scene anywhere :<, they should release some dvd anniversary edition with the cut scenes (if there were more of such).

I refuse to watch this because of religious reasons.Because when Warlock says: "You are the first to lay the eyes on the new Messiah!"
-
heh good thing they removed the scene, its more funny than scary

@kyrieeleison1 That would be a completely different scene. Julian doesn't recover any pages at the spiritualist: the coffee table you are thinking about is at Kassandra's place, which is where he goes AFTER the visit to the spiritualist. To include the clip here, with the spiritualist, would make no sense whatsoever.

Wow you had me there for a moment! Nicely done

@suoived1 Warlock, the author is Ray Garton. The book follows David Twohy's original screenplay while adding in elements.

Apparently in the book, it was alot more lurid; the Channeler (who is secretly a coke addict) took on the form of Zemeil, which apparently was described in the Legemeton -- whose horrid form, amongst other things, has a set of additional eyes replacing the nipples on her mammaries, the Warlock supposedly shucked it out like oysters with his mouth, then she was dispatched ruthlessly, like all of his victims. The book is waaay worse.

@kw271 You are correct. Ray Garton; the author of the novelization, added in elements like the one you mentioned. The eyes were present in the original shot, they then close back up before the Warlock pushes her to the floor.

Nice attempt but i recall seeing the part where Julian Sands was heaving and lifting a heavy object to pry open the wood box or coffee table in which to remove the few pages of the grimoire. Anyone with more a keen observation would have caught that. When the spiritualist contorts her head to emphasize contact w/ Zemeil that brief moment was an excellent time to modifiy and add that bit of creative video splice.
It was a good attempt but I wouldn't submit that to Hollywood.

Thanks for your feedback. There is only so much I could do with the existing footage of course.
