Fred Flaxman reads "Support for Public Radio" from Sixty Slices of Life on Wry. For public radio to be on the air, there are appeals for support from listeners. Fred tells how one listener responded.
Fred Flaxman has spent his career working for PBS, both radio and television stations and has been published in the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, New York Times, and Palm Beach Post. Currently he produces Compact Discoveries on NPR, which he began at WXEL.
