@joykon85 I have a Starplayer TV and it's a great guitar but I had to change out the pickups to get a sound I like. The Duesenbergs are way overpriced in the USA for what they are, I bought mine off of German ebay and saved about a grand. They are flashy with the German hardware but I think I'd buy three or four Reverends instead of the Duesenberg. The Club King is similar to the SP TV, they both have spruce tops on semi-hollow bodies. I like the neck shape better on the Reverends.

How would you compare the Club King RT to a Reverend USA Wolfman? Also, do you like the tremelo on the Club King better then a Bigsby? thanks!!!

@springfieldFam: Hey there, I've never had the pleasure of playing a USA Reverend, so I can't possibly compare. I do prefer the Les Trem to a bigsby because it's not so big and intrusive, and it's easier to re-string.

Hi mister Sooty! Just Wondering how this guitar matches up against a duesenberg starplayer TV if you've played one before. I saw you saying that personal for you it is tone wise better than a white falcon on some forum. Thanks so much!

@joykon85: Hey man, it's a tough comparisson to make. Those Doozies are very very nice guitars. I would say the doozie definitely has that extra touch of class, and if someone offered me a direct swap I'd be very tempted...but tonewise I think the Reverend stands up for sure. I'm not sure if the particular white falcon I compard my Reverend to was the best example of Gretsch's fine work, and I love Gretsch guitars too. But honestly, the Reverend is a fantastic sounding, very versatile guitar.

@joykon85: ....and you have to take into account the huge price difference between these Reverends and your higher end Gretches and Doozy's. I've had my Rev for a few years now, and it's still my go to guitar for church stuff. I'm still very happy with it, it's a quality axe at a great price, and one of the best sounding guitars I've heard in my 20+ years playing electric guitar, and my 17 years (on and off) working in music retail.

Very nice sound.
Is the Color Red or Orange?

Orange, officially 'Rock Orange'. Quite bright, looked more faded on the website. Hopefully it'll fade a little over time.
