Back in the day I was in a band called the Royal Gems,we used to do gigs at
the Rainbow Gardens in Pomona with these guys.

great tune! I remember i saw the album in 1980 @ the record store in Whittier. The guy
played it for me , it was especially cool because my fathers cousin was in the group ,
my mom still has the original Blendells photo signed to my dad. I also have a copy on my wall
to remind me of the "MUSIC" we love.

ORIGINALLY RELEASED ON THE RAMPART LABEL. hARD TO FIND. EASY TO FIND ON REPRISE. GREAT RECORD. I KNOW THIS RECORD WAS HUGE IN THE D.C./BALTIMORE AREA AND UP THE REST OF THE EAST COAST.

Please! Upload information about the band. I really like this kind of raw and honest rock music from, I suppose, the 60s/70s. My hobby is to rediscover all those great bands from that period. Listen for example to THE ZETTLERS and their versions of "Skinnie Minnie" and "Beautiful Delilah". Really, really good with a bloody driving beat.

Thank you so much for posting this song. My dad was in this band, he is the horn player. We lost our only copy years ago and it's so nice to see it here for my kids to hear.
