This film, provided by Bill Boltinghouse is silent, but it's a nice look at the 1968 Blue Knights. Enjoy!

  • OMYGOD!!!! Unbelievable. I just googled keesler AFB, ms drum and bugle corps and this was first on the list. I can attest that kjkelly813 was in fact the drum major at the time. I sure wish more people would post to this. I know several people that worked for the same company that I did were in the corps. Not only that, the guy that married the corps sweetheart worked with me as well. Unfortunately, I didn't play anything cool. I played cymbals.

  • This is GREAT.....I "played" with the 3700th at Lackland AFB...in the fall of '67...I was SO good....that the AF decided to trade my bugle for an Underwood...and I played a year with the 35th TAC Fighter Wing at Phan Rang, Republic of Viet Nam...I've got to say...the USAF years were among the best my life.....go Blue Knights...!!!!!!! And always with those of the 35th who: "Attacked to Defend"....God Bless the fallen and those who fought on.

  • I was a member and drum major of the Blue Knights when this film was taken. I really enjoyed seeing this film. It brings back great memories. I have several photos of the corp taken in 68'. I would like to see other members of the 68' corp post a response.

  • Keesler AFB. I left part of my soul there. Loved the beach area. Made lots of friends in Tech School held in Thompson Hall near the flight line. WLOXAM. The Golden Hour on Sunday eves. Some things about the South leave pleasant memories. Keesler AFB. USAF Vet. 65-69

  • I believe the buoldings in the backround at:36are what used to be referred to as "Chow hall row". That's now where the base gas staition sits.
