MORRISSEY NUMBER ONE
-
@jocer12ify Never!
-
2 my opinion Morrissey as a solo artist is better than the Smiths!
-
@missineichen I've never seen the film. tbh I saw it advertised but thought it didn't look like my sort of thing. But when I listen to loads of (some quite obscure) songs and bands on youtube there are references to 500 days of summer in the comments. It must have a great soundtrack! I might check it out.

@MisterOldSchool1 Mine too! I always knew about the Smiths as a part of 80's rock but this is the one that made me interested in Morrissey as an artist.
this is the song that got me interested on Morrissey...surprise anyone?

A very clever song lyrically. It plays with the listener throughout, before Morrissey reveals that the song is really a conversation with himself.
I'm particularly fond of the title, which is also the first two words in the song. "Our Frank", using a splendidly Northern possesive pronoun and of course word play on the adjective/name 'Frank': All to divert attention away from the true subject of the song... Morrissey himself. Brilliant!
