this is me singing Epiphany from the Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd
constructive criticism only please.
i've never taken vocal classes
im looking for some though, so if you are up to it, msn me ;D
also, my mic sucks so please excuse any pops, clicks, noise or errors the audio may have
Oh why do people always rape these songs like this? This isn't the worst of them, but still... I'm a girl and I'm planning to really sing this. Yes. Johnny Depp's voice... And I can sing as high as Johanna's actor. xP

You are pretty good, but this song didn't compliment your voice so well. I liked it though. Around 1:57 you seemed to be short of breath.

holy shit man! i was comparing it to the movie (which you might have een singin) but im guessing since when it was posted it was for the play show, and in that case thats really very nice and you got the tone just right for the *you-sir who-sir* bit i thought it was actually the play. so well done

i agree with what everyone else has said. some musical back up would have made it better.
you have vocal talent though. sing to it with the music and im sure it will be WAY better
i also sang this song. its on my account. you can check it out if you want. or ill just post it as a video comment.

Outta key bud, sorry. Try singing with something to accompany you.

I think the only reason it sounded awkward is cuz there was no musical accompaniment. With this piece it REALLY helps to have it because a lot of the pauses in his singing are punctuated with powerful drums or cymbals and it sounds weird without. but very nice!

oh yeah! don't pronounce the R's in never so much...make it more of an "uh" sound...it sounds better.

Instead of just shooting from one note straight to the next you have to let it flow...You sorta sound like a robot...don't judge yourself on notes...they're right...practice on just letting the notes flow out rather than forcing them...if you understand what I'm saying...lol. good job.

yeah, you need audio to help you stay in key.
