I love how you spelled work. I have the exact same setup on my slow stick. But when it landed on the water it was sent to its watery grave. :(

I have a tp 2410-09 so that should give it a lot of zap and I am runnings a 3 cell lipo.

Two things. Do you have any down thrust on your motor, And how easy is it to land on the water with floats.
I ordered my SS today and I needs some tips.
Thanks

make sure if your flying over water to only fly with no wind...you might be able to do it with a little but I dont recommend it...i dunked mine and it took 2 months before the electronics started working again. You have to land absolutley level and on calm water...fly in the early morning or late in the evening when things arent windy and the water isnt choppy....also make sure you have a brushless set up otherwise the stock motor i doubt will have enough power to break the plane from the water

Thanks for the help before. I have a few more questions. what wing is that it does not look like the stock wing for the gws slow stick. Any mods done to the plane.
Thanks alot.

it is the stock wing....instead of using the tape I hot glue the wing together...use really hot glue though not the low temp stuff...no others mods, its a stock airframe with brushless setup and gws floats i used an 8x4 prop...with out the floats the thing nearly hovers

I use a 3 cell 11.1 lipo with a brushless motor, I had 2cell 7.2 lipo for the stock motor but replaced it when i went lipo. I also have a parkzone p-51 which flies nice. MY CG is centered on the highest point of the wing if you were looking at a cross section of it. I just adjust where my battery goes to adjust the overall weight and CG. I usually trim the plane out on its first flight to make it fly nice ...it will go up with more speed and down with less.
