Episode 1 of Dalek Invasion

This is a test of some voice changing software settings and an experiment in in-camera fx techniques. I used a radio control Dalek toy and then dubbed in the mild expletive using Windows XP Moviemaker.
Software used; Audacity with Killringer add-on.
Might make this into a funny series of vids. Depends on the feedback I guess.
Simple transporter effect was done using locked down camera (Sony DCR TRV240E) in manual mode. Film 5 seconds of empty hallway. Then 5 sec with backlight engaged (which blows out the image) Place Dalek toy in shot then shoot another 5 sec then carefully switch off backlight compensator then film another few seconds. Place shots on the timeline then simply fade between each one. Cheap n' chearful and a nod to old skool Doctor Who effects.
Apologies for the mild expletive. I thought it was funny. Anyway, this simple sequence took a few hours to do as I was shooting and trying to control the Dalek at the same time. They say never work with children, animals or Daleks. Hope you find it mildly amusing but as I said at the start this is a test before I decide on whether to make a series of short funny Dalek comedy sketches.

I like this idea Andy, Im with your other chum on the theme of a "gay" Dalek, youll have to tame the use of "Bollocks" though so as to be watched by all. Nice picture quality also, well done mate
