Red Roof Inn Bed Bug Infestation

On August 18 2008 , on our second night in this room we noticed these small bugs. When we looked further we got surprised. We had to change hotel in the middle of the night. Wife & son got bit the night before. Hope no body has to go through this horrible experience. We are still trying to get the hotel to check these bugs for disease. I stayed at the red roof inn in fayetteville NC I didnt see bed bugs but the next morning before I left I had an empty cigarette pack in my pocket which I threw in the trash in the room. It was the only thing in the trash can.I later got a call from the hotel manager saying my credit card would be charged $100.00 fine for smoking in the room but I was not.manager was unreasonable later I tried to call customer service about the matter was on hold more than 30 minutes never got to talk to anyone.

Well you might be surprised. They'll wait next to a door that leads inside, as soon as you open it, they're in. Maybe they don't infest your whole house because they don't have a small spot of stagnant water to breed in. If they did, I'm sure they would!

But... wtf... after seeing that, why would they ACTUALLY sleep there.. what kind of person wouldn't get a refund and go somewhere else!? It's bad enough you're going to get bit at night, but these fuckers WILL crawl into your bags and follow you!! I had them in my car (ultimately all died cause I let the fuckers fryyyyyy in a parking lot during a florida heat wave) but they also got into our bags and now theyre in our HOUSES!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

No reason a hotel room should ever get like that. They have staff that should be trained to look for signs of activity. They should also have a standing contract with a Pest Control Service. Give me a break,,,Sue the shit out of them if you ask me. It is the JOB of the hotel to provide a clean, and comfortable place to rest. Call a lawyer, you have the proof of being eaten alive.
