I have noticed this hand gesture (aka hand sigil) in this Star Wars movie and also in a Huntik cartoon episode.

@qwerty1930 i know that the problem as i stated is that the actor couldn't do it right so it is a failed attempt. also you have to take Goerge lucas's religion into account he was raised jewish he also wanted things toned down as well. It is a known thing most people cant do the 'V" so they improvise people are reading into things so much that they confuse the lay person. So people see it and start to copy it not knowing what it means. As i said it is a "FIALED" attempt lol

@sbz666283 leonard nemoy mades the handsign called "nail" joining the index & middle fingers in one side and the ring & pinky fingers in the other side, thus making a letter "V". This handsign is used in Judaism and have no relation with the one of this video.

@getoutofthematrix its not free mason at all, the actor playing obi-wan kenobi couldn't do it right. its the same one leonard nemoy did on star-trek. it is apart of the bible actually.the hand sign is done with both hands during the aaronic benediction done by christians mostly those that know what it means most dont.

The hand gesture Obi Wan Kenobi is doing is the same as the Freemason's hand signal for a Mason in distress. The saying that accompanies the hand gesture is "Is there no help for the son of a widow?"
