The Walking Dead S02E07 "Pretty Much Dead Already" - Shane Goes Berserk

When Glenn reveals to the group that walkers are being kept in the barn, Rick discusses the matter with Hershel, also trying to convince him to let the group stay, especially since his wife is pregnant. Meanwhile, Dale tries but fails to hide Shane's guns in the swamp. Hershel asks Rick to help him recover some walkers stuck in quicksand, and tells him that his group can stay so long as they do not shoot the walkers (Hershel believes they are simply sick people, and not monsters). As they return, Shane sees the captured walkers and goes berserk. He breaks open the barn door, forcing the group to shoot them all, including the missing Sophia.

I honestly don't know what to make of Shane. On one hand, he is trying to steal a man's wife and son, and is starting to degenerate into a sub-human acting solely on survival instinct. On the other hand, his thought process is extremly logical and efficient, apart from wasting a whole clip on one zombie, and that is a requirement for the situation they are in.

I think we will need to what for later episodes before we can draw any conclusions.

best scene in the entire series. it really saved season 2 which honestly was a disappointment. shane is the only character left that I like along with the redneck and the fit blonde. and for fucks sake when will the asian get bit and die already? and i thin the black guys had about 5 lines in total throughout season 2, time to get rid of the excess baggage guys.
