The elegant canals of Venice were not designed to accommodate fourteen storey-high cruise liners. The city has always survived on its tourist trade, but increasingly this is threatening to destroy it.

"Look at how the houses vibrate every time a ship passes by!" exclaims a local resident. The cruise liners not only bring in hordes of tourists, they also pollute the city, unsettle the fragile architecture and flood the canals. Venice makes a profit of 150 million Euros a year from its visitors. Yet, as the Mayor of Venice warns: "it may be that money makes the world go around, but our world is spinning into oblivion".

They can anchor the bog ships off Venice or a safe distance and then have small boats carry the passengers to the city.That should help some .

I live about one hour and an half far from Venice. Venice is fragile. If you want your children to see it with their own family you should agree that those big ships are crumbling it down.

are you not allowed to do a chem trail vid????????? You can watch a chemtrail and a plane with NOTHING, same altitude same exact time. Its not hard to do, it happens everyday where I live in Kansas, It happens EVERYDAY.
