I got no drive wire with my EZ Gig cloning softwear, nor were there suggestions on how the 5V socket came into the scheme of things. A ll I got was the blue box and the USB connection and disk. Bad experience.

It's definitely not universal in an important sense, it doesn't seem to support 3.5" drives.

I'd like to copy my complete OS and all files from 160GB (sata) drive to a new 60GB SSD from a netbook (about 20 GB). Will this adapter clone the existing drive and copy to new SSD drive? Thanks.
