Vibrant Flowers by Fiona Peart

This DVD is designed to accompany Fiona Peart 's book `Ready to Paint
Vibrant Flowers. The book includes 6 re-useable tracings, four of
those paintings feature on this DVD.

The Filming was all done in and around Fiona's studio at her home
in Bourton on the Water in the Cotswolds. This intimate film gives
you a glimpse into the artist's working environment as well as
revealing a wealth of watercolour tips and techniques.

Fiona's demonstrating style is fun and enthusiastic, her obvious
enjoyment for painting, and simple approach, will encourage
viewers to have a go. The flowers chosen are vibrant and bold
and are easily achieved for even a relative beginner.

Watch the consistency of the paint, how the colours move and
run to create lovely wet into wet effects, as well as understanding
the mixing process, so vital to achieve ethereal watercolours and
help you understand your own painting.

Fiona is a professional watercolour artist, trained at the Flemish
Academy in Belgium. She can be seen on TV as well as at various
art shows and societies up and down the country.
