@klbtree Thanks for answering so soon! :)
Since you answer so quickly I'd also like to ask you about buying a new oboe in December. I've already decided that I'm going to buy a Marigaux 2001 and was about to buy it when my teacher told me they tend to crack more easily in December. Is this just her experience or is it really that bad? If so, how can I avoid this and still buy my oboe soon? Thanks again!

i thik that the warm up until the sec "58 it's not necessary for oboe however how many hours in day do you practise oboe???

@MrGeristagani The stretching is very important for preventing overuse injuries such as tendonitis, so I highly recommend it. I think it's particularly important for people who don't play every day. When one plays very little one day and then a lot on another there's a much higher risk for problems to develop. By putting a little stretching into the warm up you prepare the muscles for the task at hand and they work far more efficiently.
I practice anywhere between 2 and 6 hours a day.

@klbtree When you study you can't play 4 hours in a row, so how long do you play before you take a pause? I can generally only resist 45 minutes before my lips ache.

@lennic95 Breaks are crucial! Resting after 45 minutes is perfect, but sometimes I even break every 20 minutes or so, depending on what I'm working on.

Hi! i love the warm ups but with the reed games I cant quite keep up when rolling the reed up on the Ab and im not quite sure why and also the reed is really wobbly when I play the reed games part when I let go of the reed. so yeah im not quite sure why.

@eulricsalazar It's possible your reed itself is a bit unstable. However, its also OK to hold on to your reed through the whole exercise, especially when you first start working on it.
