Bex (lifeinpaint.com) and dave (davezak.com) had a great time in the mayan riviera, Mexico, on our honeymoon! We highly recommend Secrets SilverSands Resort. Very Pleased.

This video takes a look at:

rooms
beach and facilities
some mayan ruins
repelling and zip lines
swimming in underwater caves
entertainment

Worth what you spend to go! No complaints.

  • that is a 'talum' - the closest mayan ruins to this place... there is a big staircase down and this small beach. not many people were there and just beautiful!

  • great video! was debating between a honeymoon spot between SSS and the Secrets Capri...how much were the activities outside the resort? are they far? The beach looks much better than the stories I have heard on Tripadvisor..I agree, some people complain too much and wonder how many butlers and they have in their imaginary mansions at home to be so picky!!

  • @TheBakshiGroup Outside things were 100 bucks each on average. beach wasn't bad. depends on what you are going for. so depends on your attitude going and who you are with. but i was happy here :)

  • @TheBakshiGroup The good food made it a good stay all around cause you just feel nice after you eat unlike other places (dominican/cuba)

  • @TheBakshiGroup awesome. more fun than pictures for us! i stopped taking pictures and just make one 'summary' video now :)

  • Looks like a cool place where the big rocks were. Where was that?

  • @ARIN4UK I think we were there just before Christmas. so during the Canadian winter. It's is wonderful :)

  • When were you there?? Place looks dead, which is WONDERFUL!!

  • @davezak Thanks for all the quick info!

Booked SSS and hopefully can use your video as inspiration to make one myself!

  • @davezak wife says it was $105/each

  • @TheBakshiGroup i think we paid around $100-120/each for a full day that included zip line, repelling, cave snorkeling, lunch and the mayan ruins.
