You're a brave fellow to go strolling out on the ice like that. Maybe the ice in Vilnius is thicker than the stuff we get on the rare times when the water actually freezes over.

Thanks :) well I saw some locals fishing on the ice so I assumed it was safe and I was eager to walk on the lake since I have never been on a frozen lake.
The ice by the castle was a bit thinner so I had to be careful.
