This version has to be the best I have heard..Pavarotti has a set of pipes granted, but this piece is moving...almost moves you to tears..
A great piece..and many thanks for putting it on Youtube.

@egv19 I completely agree. What a fantastic ending to "The Sum Of All Fears." Or as I've humorously called the ending, "Cotton Weary Saves The Day." All joking aside, Bruce's version was an excellent choice. Beautiful.

I searched for this my entire life. Put this to anything and it's a Boss

Outstanding.
I love Pavarotti and prefer his voice but Bruce Sledge has an incredible clear voice like no other opera singer without lacking emotions. In my opinion little better than Domingo, Carraras or Villazon.

This track is from the OST of the movie The Sum of all Fears. It appears in the end scene of the movie. It's one of the best movie ends scene I ever seen. Check it out here in YT, is sublime...

This recording of Bruce's was featured in the closing sequence of the U.S. movie "The Sum of All Fears". his singing of this ties the entire end of that movie together... totally fantastic. When I watch that movie at home I anticipate the part of the movie when his voice comes in. Such a great moment, and wonderful voice.
