A "retro evolution" with a couple really great ideas, but is unfortunately difficult to recommend.

  • Nice, a bit more of a professional review from you. Unfortunately, you repeated yourself a LOT and it felt like you were artificially padding the video with said repetition. Try changing up your vernacular or simply being more brief. Decent work, however.

  • *Insert meaningless comparison to IGN here*

In all seriousness, thanks for a really informative review. You were sometimes a bit repetitive on the controls, graphics and camera, but otherwise it's really concise. Here's hoping you do more of these.

  • Bargers!

  • The repetitiveness isn't the worst part. It's too much like a report instead of a review. "I did this and this happened", etc. It's just not very interesting to listen too. Instead of saying “I went online but no-one was there”, you could say “Online is empty” and then make a conclusion like “so its inclusion is useless you have Burger Time aficionados on your friends list”.

  • Super Burger Time is good, too.

  • Repetativeness = emphasis! Not always a bad thing. :)

  • @MMercM I agree to an extent. When he brought a topic back up, he added more detail. a lot of writers do that. synopsis then a clarification of said synopsis. the problem here was that he pretty much used the exact same words when he repeated the subject before giving his more lengthily detailed evaluation. If he'd changed it up a little in the dialogue it would probably be next to unnoticeable.

  • I'll stick with the 2600 version.

  • I play the demo of this game with my Master Chief avatar :D

  • i would like to see a alex kidd reboot or remake

  • Burger Time Deluxe is available on the 3DS Virtual Console for $3 - proabably easier than tracking it down on Gameboy.. or tracking down an original Gameboy. (or pocket, or color)

Great review - not sure why the camera is pulled so far back, especially with the curved sides of the level so clearly visible most of the time... I'm sure I could see it fine on my TV, but not everyone out there has a 56" set 6 feet in front of a loveseat. What? I'm myopic.

  • the ability to zoom in and play more close up would have helped this game A LOT, maybe if they make a new one they will add that feature.
