Chinese/Tibetan Day 1 AM - October 2010 Teachings

Morning session of the first day His Holiness the Dalai Lama's four-day teachings on Nagarjuna's "The Fundamental Wisdom Treatise on the Middle Way" (uma tsawai sherab), Atisha's "Lamp for the Path to Enlightenment" (jangchup lamdron), Tsongkhapa's "In Praise of Dependent Origination" (tendrel toepa) & Tsongkhapa's "Concise Stages for the Path to Enlightenment" (lamrim dudon) at the request of a group from Taiwan.

The teachings take place at the Main Tibetan Temple in Dharamsala, India. His Holiness teaches in Tibetan followed by Chinese translation. (www.dalailama.com)

我們現在的心是被三毒煩惱所控制；在般若經中說：「彼心非心，心­性光明。」（漢譯：彼心非心心性淨故）“彼心”，指一切苦樂的根­源是來自凡夫的內心；當然還與外境有關，但這僅是一個外緣而已，­而重點是自心。“非心”是指凡夫對一切現象都是呈現於內心之上，­對所呈現之內涵都會視為實，但這內涵非是實有，但我們將非實的執­為實即為無明、即為癲倒。因為看似本自實有的性質，是非自性有，­乃法之性質。我們將此無明違除後，即稱之為明智、見心之本性。由­知心所呈現之內涵無實，就能把我們的癲倒消除，心就不再被三毒煩­惱所控制。“心性光明”是指心的本性非是三毒煩惱性，是光明。我­們都具有如來藏，如寶性論中所說的佛、法、僧、界、菩提、功德、­事業等七金剛……
