@Aimilia19 Actually. I believe that queensryche and fates warning were the first official prog metal guys. fates warning especially. The spectre within and no exit had some innovative concepts of their time. but dream theater certainly put prog on the map though.

Psychotic Waltz are a great band indeed but I'm not going to compare them with dream theater.. Dream Theater are the fathers of progressive metal.. Scenes from a memory is one of the greatest progressive albums I've heard.. But thanks for the comment anyway and I'm glad you like the song! :)
