  • Sweet shoes bud, where did you get them?

  • check my blog, linked in the info for this video

  • @Under21convention07 Hey man. I went to your blog. But there is so much stuff. I can't find the name of the shoes. Could you provide a link? It would be much appreciated

  • @djmikeaaronr Vibram five fingers- theres a link under my top posts on them (on the right of the blog)

  • This isnt HIT...he did no isolation pre-exhaust exercise for each muscle group... on pull down he used his torso for momentum to get the weight down...on calf raise he didn't do static hold at top...simply running from exercise to exercise is not HIT, that's called circuit training

  • There isnt a rulebook for HIT last time I checked. This workout was intense, anyone who has been through something similar would attest to that in a heartbeat...

  • Dude, great Intensity and Form! I'm actually surprised, given the weight that you are doing on these exercises that you are not bigger, but the strength is there. If only more people were aware of Arthur Jones and Ellington Darden's work!

  • @pmango1000 HIT doesnt have to have a pre-exhaust exercise to be HIT, but i must be logical and say that the form he was using wasn't great.

  • @Under21convention07 There is a rule book to HIT. Its based on the adaptation principle where growth is proportionate to stress induced. Only 1 working set is required to create this maximum stress. Any more than this is a waste of both time and energy which could be added into the 1 working set to failure

  • @DederDubs I, for one, am. Been doing it for almost a year now. It's some amazing stuff.

  • @TryhardGetit

Yes. You should arch your back when you finish a pulldown. The great Dorian Yates was very particular about this and he build his back up from a weak bodypart to his best bodypart.

But ultimately it's just more important to do something difficult instead of being really anal about form. Dorian's back development has a lot more to do with the fact that he did pullovers and rows with 400 pounds. Then again you won't be able to more weights like that unless you arch your back.

  • this is hit in arthur jones style good job

  • Good job !!!

  • Excellent job. Here is a man who knows his stuff and trains in an intelligent manner. If only gyms were populated with more people like you, sir. I work in a gym and, sadly, get to watch people utterly waste their time there every day. Keep up the great work :-)

  • @ptarleton Not my video, but the reasoning behind this is that it is important in order to minimize extra energy expenditure, so that all energy and maximum effort may be devoted to the proper performance of the exercise.

  • Good on you! Strict form and you have to guts to put your session on youtube, unlike the 'nay sayers'! Keep it up!
