Helping People Save Their Forests in Madagascar

Naples Zoo recently funded a pilot program to provide "Rocket Stoves" to families near a national park in Madagascar. The stoves focus the energy so much less firewood is needed. In this way, there is less pressure on the forests. Following this program's success, the Zoo has provided further funding.
