  • So I hope you still look at this! I love the way you set this up because you explain everything. Thank you. I'm 31 and tried to get my father to teach me and my grandparents who knew this language are now gone and I didn't get to know them that well. My daughter who is 11 is very intreged by learning it. All the help will mean a whole lot! Thanks

  • I did it the way i was taught...my dad would write it easy to say...and that helped alot!

  • I'm so glad I found this. You make this very easy. Do you know where I could by CD's of the cherokee language? I would like to listen on my way to and from work. How do you say purplefeather in Cherokee? Thanks again for this.

You made it VERY easy for me to learn these words...I'm almost 50 yrs old and I'm 1/16th Cherokee from NC..I've always wanted to learn..But it was NEVER as EASY as you put it..THANK YOU...PLEASE DO MORE..Also do you know of any free web sites that I can learn the language?? wa do( is that right for thank you) and would you know how to write and pronounace Charlene? (my name)

  • @JimRussell100 That depends on how many people you are saying it to. You can say "Donadagohv'i" for one person and for multiple, you say "Dodadagohv'i."
