Child Abuse Prevention Association

MISSION:
To prevent and treat all forms of child abuse by creating changes in individuals, families and society that strengthen relationships and promote healing.

VISION:
We believe children should be valued and nurtured by both their families and
the larger family of humankind.

Child Abuse Prevention Association provides:

PRIMARY PREVENTION:
CAPA provides prevention education programs and classes to increase awareness of abuse and its prevention, improve parenting skills and teach personal safety skills to children.

INTERVENTION:
CAPA provides therapeutic, home-based services designed to help children and families build upon their strengths to prevent abuse and build strong families. (Other intervention services outside of the scope of our services would be child protection services and law enforcement investigations, etc.)

TREATMENT:
CAPA also provides individual and group; child and adult; professional counseling for victims of abuse and persons seeking to prevent abuse or improve family life.
