(Pg. 2) At that point, the democratic process would no longer work, and the only possible way to secure liberty would be for the populace to take up arms against their own government.

You can't even correctly name the AR-15 - instead, you refer to it as an "AR33 Assault Rifle," showing how little you actually know about guns.

Before you make a strong opinion about a gun related issue, at least know how to correctly identify the name of the gun, for crying out loud.

(1/2) The 2nd Amendment has nothing to do with duck hunting, or target shooting. As a matter of fact, it isn't even centered entirely around personal defense. It's about civilians owning every terrible "assault weapon" that is provided to individual soldiers to protect our rights from a tyrannical government. Our founding fathers understood that there could come a point in time where the government could become tyrannical and evil.

It's an endless debate... I think civilians should be allowed to have their shotguns, hunting rifles, hand guns, etc... but there is absolutely no reason a civilian needs an AR33 Assault Rifle in their living room..

Yeah there are idiots who kill people with guns. It happens. It also happens with cars, trains, planes, bombs, etc. Your point?

Do you want to know who is really good at killing people?
Governments who practice a monopoly on effective weapons. Nothing spells genocide like G-U-N-C-O-N-T-R-O-L.

What? Is that even english? More guns in the hands of law abiding citizens, the better. It's always been that way, and anyone who thinks otherwise needs to get their facts straight.
