Oh dear. YouTube really is a magnet for the ill-educated and down right ignorant. After Beijing Phelps used a US$1million bonus from his sponsors to set up the Michael Phelps Foundation - it targeted at growing the sport of swimming and promoting healthier lifestyles. Part of the foundation is also the Michael Phelps Swim School. Still selfish?

He's a guy that loves swimming, not a guy that loves coaching. You only get 1 life and you have to do what you want to do. He's given the country 22 medals and dedicated 20 years of his life to the sport (4-5 hours a day everyday). Pretty sure he's given more to his country than you ever will so I would hardly call him selfish.

You're doing it wrong. Peeing in the pool is the most American thing you can do.

The Wall Street Journal??!! Those questions were so bad. I would have expected better. Luckily Phelps carried the reporter.
