People don't seem to understand that this is a very personal opera to any singer ... due to the lyrics and storyline they all tend to sing it in their own way , they all felt it one day I'm sure ! You fail if you expect this to be immutable throughout the years , whenever we listen to a entertainement singer , we unravel a "pagliacci" ...

Ahora tenores hay para todos lo gustos y personalmente me mueve mas la interpretacion de Cura que el de muchos otros incluyendo a Pavarotti.

Auqneu la tecnica de Cura no es muy buena, su talento actoral lo compensa; Cabe decir tambien que el es famoso por esta misma opera interpretando a un soberbio canio. Ahora claro, que su mejor actuacion, en donde se puede sentir a un Canio sufrido e inmerso en el papel es cuando lo dirige Brian Schembri. El video tambien esta en youtube si lo quieren checar.

I don't think his voice is that bad, just needs some work.
At 4:26 he comes in too late, and at 4:40 he comes in too early, causing the orchestra to try to keep up with him at 4:41-4:43
