Learn how to add lots of suspense and tension to your films and stories. Based on the book "Developing Digital Short Films" (2004 Peachpit) by Sherri Sheridan from www.MindsEyeMedia.com.
Glad the videos helped! I'm using the 20 hour version for my own script right now and this process is keeping all the ideas together and on track in an easy way.
And I am ALWAYS working on saying EVERYTHING with a little less absolutes and blanket statements.
You should have seen the rough cuts where I spent weeks editing out 1000's of "like", "you know" and "ummm" - this is why my head jumps places sometimes.
You are very wrong about this information. Everything you are saying is absolute like "everthing and always" and it's not that way. I really don't wanna be rude, but you should re-evaluate your theories.
What information is wrong to you? These are just free tips on how to write better stories. Think of a favorite film and I bet it has a ticking clock. Suspense ideas are for adding tension. Many filmmakers starting out lack having any suspense or ticking clocks and their films feel flat and boring.
This technique helped tremendously in adding tension in my horror script.
Incidentally, never at anytime, did you use the words 'everything or always' throughout the video :)
Thanks again!!!!!!!!!!
