Less than 24 hours ago, I bought the Cybex Pallas 2-fix car seat for my 9 month old baby.
The seat has great safety ratings, and was seen be me as a high quality product. These were the main reasons to buy this seat.
Already in the shop, I was surprised about how unstable the backrest was. As per the commercial available on the internet, it should recline into three positions.
After coming home and inspecting the seat and the backrest adjustment, I was shocked by my findings.
The seat is intended to be used until your child is 12 years old. Let me remind you, that the seat portrayed here was bought less than 24 hours ago, and the backrest has been adjusted by me not more 20 times.
Prior to buying it, I was not able to find relevant information from the users on the internet. Please share.

  • The plastic "teeth" that you see in the video are intended to hold the backrest in selected position by resting against the plastic lower part. Nothing else facilitates the backrest in keeping it's position.
