In the 30's Germany was rebuidling, reforming and regrouping. These military parades were showcases of the German military spirit and growing might. Ofcourse it is for modern day Europeans impossible to grasp that a entire nation was deeply gratefull to 1 one man who picked up the pieces of a broken nation and rebuilt it from scratc. It is easy now looking back at these pictures and make scornfull remarks about it. But in those long ago times the country was cheerfull and full of hope.
