China's thriving auto industry -- 22 April 2008

Transformed from being the land of bicycles into a land of cars, China's booming economy is driving up demand at a time when car sales are slow elsewhere in the world.

Al Jazeera's Tony Cheng visited the Beijing motor show which showed much promise in making China the future of the automotive industry.

the future is in cheaper aircraft availible to all. thats the main reason why small family airplanes are still so expensive is not because of the manafacturing materials and parts or labour but its because it has not yet become mainstream. conisder that many aircraft use less materials to build than a large family car. i think flying is the way forward. flying will eventually become as popular as the family car.
