@zorbazig Yes I'm well aware of that, I'm a Doc fan. I was referring to the fact that the sound man doesn't have Doc's guitar turned on.
-
@bigdjindustriez FYI Doc Watson is blind
-
Fantastic !!! Guitar Perfection !!! T4P !!!
-
my mom knew Leo Kotke at St Cloud State in MN....my college too!
good times for sure....
-
@dantean Doc took the time to go there and play, the least they could do is turn his guitar volume up, or on.
-
@bigdjindustriez And your comment should be called "my fifteen seconds of being paid attention to."
-
Ohnestly if you look at both of them it looks like leo is doc at age 50ish. They really look alike.
-
youtube converts audio to mono, might've somehow lost one of the channels in the conversion (and doc's take along with it)

This video should be called "Leo Kottke plays, and Doc silently gets pissed off while the sound man sleeps off his hangover". Ffs.

Great music.
I first heard Leo Kotke do his piece "Watermelon" on the radio driving my '60 Chev in Eugene, Oregon in 1969. Then I bought his instrumental album. I've got it on CD now.
I remember the text with the album said it was instrumental because Kotke's voice sounded like "geese farts on a muggy day".
