I think Marat was a waste of talent. He underacheived big time. The focus just wasn't there. He almost reminds me of Serena sometimes, but she has rebounded, but sometimes she loses focus. Hopefully he won't retire. EVen knowing he was gonna retire, he should have at least dedicated himself to being the best he could be.

I hope what happened to Safin won't happen to Delpo... Winning a grand slam and then losing that desire.

You're completely right, the thing with this match is that Pete did play a more than honorable tennis even for his standards, maybe not the best Sampras ever, but still very good. And result was..3 set to 0 Safin; that day he was amazing!

In case you don't know Flames of Recca is the worst anime/manga ever to be released. It's unoriginal and it's a total rip off from Yu Yu Hakusho.

Damn Safin is just in the zone in these highlights. You can tell if you look how wide his eyes are, as a former tennis player I recognize that look and feel of being 100% focused.
