the Reviers wrote some slightly awkward lyrics occasionally - even though it's clear they mean that at the end of every day their children go to bed and the adults can have some adult time, still it sounds like something out of the Twilight Zone: "Where did my children go?! Marge, where are the children, they were just here!" Like Nathan Jr. in Raising Arizona :) But they are an endearing band, and do some tight tasty guitar-band songs with heart & optimism (& nostalgia) - so, all good -

I liked that first album they did when they were called "Zeitgeist". Think it was called "Translate Slowly."

One of the bands I miss. The Reivers were excellent. Nothing they put out was disappointing. All was worth listening to more than once.
