For More Detailed Findings on a Few Wash N Go Techniques, Check Us Out at: http://angelsringlets.blogspot.com/2012/01/whats-youre-curlscoils-saying-best...

This video shares how I do my wash n go's lately. I like the "laid down", elongated curl look at times, and I love to use conditioner to do it. My preference for conditioner is Giovanni 50/50 Conditioner, but since I ran out, I used a bottle of Tresemme. After I saturate that through the hair, then I use Shea Moistures Curling Souffle to provide an extra hold and some sheen. It takes about 24 hours for my hair to fully dry.

  • @007newnew ............Freeworship, Naptural85, and Kimmaytube all have 4a hair. Jerseystylezz, thelmarrie, and growblackhairnet all have 4b hair. You will be able to see the slight difference in all of the hairs in even the same category! You decide which your hair looks the most like and let me know :)

  • @gggrinz Okay, I view most of their videos, so when I get a chance, I'll compare. The hair typing system is antiquated indeed LOL! In my rational sense, and from viewing so many heads of hair, I don't believe that 3 little subcategories (a,b,c) can encompass our coil/curl shapes---but I can't complain b/c I didn't even define one category. Thanks for the info.

  • @007newnew Hi hun. Thanks for your comment. Not all hair typing definitions given is correct. 4b hair does not have a z pattern it is an extremely tight spiral curl. I have 4b hair mixed with some 4a so I know that some 4b hair can look like 4a if properly conditioned.

  • @gggrinz Then you're right. Not all hair typing definitions given is correct. It's real interesting that I can't locate the Andre Walker hair typing classification on his own website. I was reading this info from Naturallycurly Maybe you can help me figure out my hair type. What are the other characteristics of 4b hair? At this point, it sounds the same as 4a hair.

  • IS YOUR HAIR TYPE 4B?

  • @jpr094 I'd say 4a. It's very coily with an "S" pattern. No "Z". Today was the first time I actually took time to look at the typing system Hahahaha! Thanks Guysssss

  • I just love watching your videos. They are always informative & well thought out. I'm in that interesting length stage and WnGs will have to wait until my hair grows a bit. I pretty much have the same curl pattern all over, but my crown and halo sections shrink at completely different rates. I totally have to plan out my styles in a way that will give me the shape I desire. Looking forward to trying the condish WnG. Maybe this summer?!

  • @007newnew I completely agree with you! Sometimes I feel like each a, b, and c should have their own a,b, and c if you know what I mean. You look to me like loose 4b that borderlines 4a. Or atleast a tight 4a that's closer to 4b than 3c. Lol anyways when you've looked at them let me know what you decide.

  • @007newnew Andre Walker's hair typing system is like the very first telephone; now a days we have advanced to cellphones. Similarly, Walker didn't include types 3c and 4c in his original system, but we know that these types exist. Basically I'm saying that you shouldn't look to him for categorizing your hair. Instead of telling you what your hair type is, I'm going to give you examples of youtubers for you to check out.............

  • I now do my wash and go's every 2-3 days this has practically eliminated my knots. :) I'm a happy camper.

  • @007newnew The z pattern of which you speak is 4c hair, which does not have a curl pattern.
