Well I never actually went into the park, I was just on the side of the road so I don't know how the blackflies are. I know it was bad in July when I went.

May is the best time. They are on the side of the road eating the salt from the winter past. What I did was left Huntsville at sunrise, and drove through. Only problem I had was the sun in my eyes. But I saw 8 moose on the side of the road that morning.
