Queen Elizabeth 2 was a classic Liners. Grace & beauty will continue on Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria, & Queen Elizabeth. I hope QE2 is saved. My last hopes & happiness lies in that ship. If she gets scrapped, I will never be be happy again. Never.

MS, RMS, what's the differance? Queen Elizabeth is Queen Elizabeth, & Queen Elizabeth 2 is Queen Elizabeth 2. This is a beautiful video.

@keithm1138 Yep, it's called Queen Elizabeth since it's not an RMS. It's an MS and since there wasn't already a Queen Elizabeth that was an MS than we call it the MS Queen Elizabeth(MS stands for Motor Ship.).

The new QE will be slightly larger than the QV due to a slightly built-up superstructure. Same hull and basic superstructure as the new Vista/Spirit Class 'Queen Victoria' and not a liner/cruise ship like Queen Mary 2.

I suspect she'll be a modifie Vista and look the the floating brick, the ghastly named "Eurodam". It's a shame given all of Canrival's resources that Mickey Arison settles for mediochrity in his ships. Quantity is a bigger priority over quality..these ships stay in such a box design wise time after time it's getting to the point who cares anymore. NCL, Celebrity, even RCCL look far more original than these stale and predictable clones.

A shame , they should have invested in creating a new and unique ocean liner line QM2 for generations to come rather than a bulky vista class vessel , what a let down.Since Carnival took over Cunard is now just a brand name and has lost it's touch when it comes to quality.
QV & the new QE ,
they're both cruise ships not ocean liners.
Oh well , maybe in the future one will build a QE3 vessel.

The new Queen Elizabeth will be another Spirit/Vista Class clone. She will be a sister to the new Queen Victoria so not liner but a nice cruise ship.
