i know of many ways depending on the wind tide and type of craft,

i will make a few videos of

these in my fraser 34 i do it easily single handed all the time .i prefer to back in as the craft tands to run less in revaerse

also, you should never step off the vessel until it has come to a complete halt and/or been tied up with at least a front spring with the engines transmission in forward.

and would you know how to do it yourself? there is more than just one way of berthing along side a jetty you know...
