@MrDjvance How about the areas that have been ravaged by tornadoes? It would be a great place to experiment with tornado proof buildings.

Yes, Its main stream news; about the prison labor especially in South Carolina. I read it on Suntimes dot com,"An anti-union state, South Carolina adds to the “race to the bottom” by offering employers cheap captive prison labor. The largest dairy farm in the state will be in a prison. The state aggressively markets its Prison Industries program to private employers, offering to “lease” prisoners or allow businesses to open branches within prison gates."

@28janya22 Well with America already imprisoning well over a million of its people and running its prisons as a for profit industry. Combined with recent allowances for indefinite detention without charges through the 2010 NDAA bill that Obama signed into law, we're already on our way to a resurgence of slavery through economic and political means.

The elites will get the best even here. But I guess that will not matter, since the population of the Earth will only be 25% of what it is now, the rest having been "eliminated." The rest of the Earth will be a wild life preserve. If you hate living in closed spaces, this is not for you. I think there is a lot that is good here, but humans will have to be far more advanced for something like this to not be manipulated into a prison for "those humans."

@vitaminsandstds Of course! I for one don't care anything about living in any city. However, there are things I like to do that I can't do on my farm. For those, I'd much prefer to go to a well organized city that is engineered to please our senses and accommodates our needs rather than choking the life out of us and driving us insane from the stress. TVP is about liberating people, not enslaving them and making them conform to a certain way of life.

@TheLisaGRAHAM Like I said, you should go read the essays for a better understanding of what we're getting at. But there wouldn't be an invasion of your privacy living in the city or in a detached home. That's not the case today with everything you do being recorded. And why do you call it a micro managed uber organized human zoo? "Zoo" is more appropriate for today's cities. So is "micro managed" --especially when it comes to government. And is metro-efficiency not preferable to traffic jams?

@slayer2961 i wouldnt be suprised at all at how many materialistic people walk the earth The world is plagued with clones no matter where u live.however thea is a strong contingent of people who seek lifestyles more based on values rather than 'the value of'.yes i am fortunate to live in nz and i do know other countries are in complete financial ruin, im just sayin, what does this venus project prove to solve?
