One Very fat Gerbil.

And a female for once. This one in fact had fluid retention from old age, that was the reason behind the hugeness. Having been pregnant several times and living in a small tank with good food always helps...

@Jebrylla dominance will do that. just try to give the skinny one more sunflower seeds/pine nuts but obviously not too many. as for the fat one just let him out for a run around your room for 30 mins longer than the skinny one.

I have 2 gerbils in one cage. One is fat, the other skinny. when they eat, the fat one takes the food out of the others mouth :(. Then, the skinny one just forgets to eat. I would like some help on this cause I'm worried for both of their health for different reasons.

yes sorry to hear she died but they can live for their whole lives with heart failure if the owner took very good care for them

Huh, I didn't know that... Sometimes its hard to tell. Not sure how long a small animal could live with heart failure, because the one in the video seemed perfectly healthy for a good while before she died despite her size (she has now died unfortunately, but she was very old).

that's the problem with social animals, they get upset when they are alone :(
