In dmc3 special edition when you play as Vergil he can use magic to summon swords to attack his enemies just like on here at 1:29.

@xFuyouKaedex Amen to that! I really wish they would have answered some of all those questions, instead of just abandoning it all and start anew. But I hope and wish that they will continue this Devil may cry's storyline in the future, despite the reboot.

Why does this series need a reboot. IMO, they haven't even finished the story. So Dante rides to hell, what happens? Why is Nero all demon-y and has a special connection with Yamato? Is that the end of Vergil? Ugh, I just want some closure/answers! Capcom, you've fucked up.

@barthanson dante and vergil are the same just that when dante beat at the final of dmc 3 vergil falls into an abyss then mundus toke control of vergil

you can destroy that swords with the ifrit gauntlets equiped. if you buy the flaming tornado (something like that) when you press the triangle button Dante destroy that swords, many times the swords will be destroyed completely.

and its not neccesary to complain in trying to avoid that swords

I just hate him because it like the third time u have to fight him
