Cute baby Chimp (Apenheul zoo, Apeldoorn)

Apenheul ape zoo in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands - where many of the monkeys are free to roam about amongst the public. Definately worth a visit!

"Apenheul Primate Park is a zoo in Apeldoorn, Holland. It specializes in apes and monkeys. It opened in 1971 and was the first zoo in the world where apes and monkeys could walk around freely in the forest and between the visitors. It started with just a few species, now it displays more than 30 different primates, among them Bonobo, Gorilla and Orang Utan."

no cute chimp! these are bonobos! :-). oh my god, it´s the first time i see kumbukas little boy.

bonobo's are of the 'pan' genus and therefore can i think (though not completely accurately) still fairly be termed chimpanzees. Seeing as the term chimpanzee is better known than bonobo's i decided to use that in my title. I'm afraid i'm not sure whose baby it is. thanks for commenting!
