EPOC Mind controlled Robot

Using EPOC to control a 5 axis robot arm. Thought activated robot control !!!! Picking up a ping pong ball from one holder and putting down in another. The Epoc reads thoughts and outputs a keyboard press which is mapped to a movement. A bespoke application written with NeatTools reads the keyboard and sends a comand to one of the switchboxes which active the robot arm.

That is the clicking of the relays in the serial switch boxes turning the robot motors on/off (the switch boxes are the two things stacked at the bottom left of the monitor)

you can still see the top of the mouse at the bottom right of the screen.

Do you use your own algorithm or just use EMOTIV left right output??? just wondering what they provide with that headset... we have to implement or code is already in their SDK.... waiting for your reply

@nehalxtreme The emotiv outputs are enough. but Sdk includes example codes and will get all headset outputs channels. However research version is needed for access to EEG raw data. so depends what you want to do and at what level.

Interesting application of the EPOC headset! How did you learn more than 4 actions in parallel in the cognitiv suite? Or are you using facial expressions as well?

very funny your final moment and glance back at the camera.. did you use USB-IRT transmitter as the link between emotive and the robot arm. Where can I buy such a robot arm
