I love MetroStars name to me it was better than the other names like columbus crew or colorado rapids because it had a name that everyone can remember and a nice sound but if i would take another name it would be Empire Soccer Club and the only reason i like RB is becuz they didn't bullshit around about making the stadium and delay it every fucking year like the MS FO did every year and they left out NJ in the name which pissed me off since i lived there but i understand becuz of publicity.

You do realize teams are bought and sold all over the world all the time? This one decided to rebrand the team which wasn't a bad idea cause MetroStars was about the worst name in a league with several bad names. Red Bull has only brought good stuff and money to NY (you wont complain about that shiny new stadium when its done) the FO on the other hand hasn't done much and Osorio was a flash in the pan at Chicago he needs to go before things will get better there.
